# What is Xignal

Xignal is a Web3 strategy game built around creating and optimizing your own in-game AI Agent.

The core of the game is strategy and specialization. Your Agent’s performance depends on its Hardwares, AI Skills, configuration, and how you use available resources. Different setups perform differently, giving players the freedom to build an Agent around their own strategy.

There is no single best Agent Build. A configuration optimized for Research may perform differently from one focused on Analysis, Engineering, or overall Efficiency. As you progress, you can change Hardwares, develop Skills, and adapt your setup to different goals.

Stronger and more efficient Agents can take on more demanding Tasks, earn greater rewards, and create more opportunities to obtain Xignals.

Xignals connect progression with the competitive side of the game. They can be committed through Extract to participate in reward Pools and get a chance to become a winner.
